I went to my cousin's play right after school on Friday. Then, my mom,my sister, and I went to Panera. After that, my sister and I went to Friday Night Live with the rest of the school soccer team. On Saturday, I started my homework, cleaned my room, and watched NCIS. On Sunday, we went to Bonner Springs to see my cousin play basketball. Then, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings in Lawrence to meet my other cousin who goes to KU.

I would want all of my classes to be related to science because I want to be a doctor.  I would want the class size to be smaller and more hands-on. I would study medicine. Also, I think that everyone should have to take a public speaking class because everyone struggles with it. Also, I think everyone should have to take a fun class doing something that they enjoy.

Color can convey a lot of emotion when it comes to designing anything from a product to a website to an advertisement to a logo and so much more. What do you think the importance of colors on a website are? What is a color scheme and why is it important to have when designing? Explain any thoughts you might have around color in design.

I think that the color of your webpage is very important because color triggers certain emotions for everyone, so it's important that your color affects people positively. A color scheme is a group of colors that you use for whatever you are creating or designing. Personally, I like the color blue because it makes me feel more calm.

Think about the quote above. What does this mean to you? How could this apply to your life? How could this apply to your school work (especially Web Design!)?  I would love to give you less work in class if it meant you were going to focus harder on the work. Do you think you would get more out of it? Would that work for you? Why or why not?
I think that I would get more out of this class if I focused harder on less work because when you have less tasks, you can fully apply yourself. This quote means that quality should mean more than quantity. This would work for me because I like focusing solely on one task, rather than multiple tasks.

I didn't have very much this weekend. On Friday night, I went to the girls basketball game, which they ended up losing. On Saturday, I went to see my the play at Shawnee Mission East because my cousin goes there. Saturday night I had two soccer and my sisters had two games. On Sunday, I went to church, did my homework, and watched he Grammys.

What's the coolest thing you've learned in this class so far this year? Now that you have a little knowledge, what do you want to learn that you don't know how to do yet?
The coolest thing that I've learned this year is making websites. I would like to make more websites in order to make sure that I have mastered the concept.

Tell me all about your Sweetheart weekend (even if you sat at home on the couch!). Include photos!
This weekend I didn't go go to Sweetheart, but my sisters did so I helped them get ready. One my sisters, Abby, actually ended up winning Sweetheart queen. On Saturday, I played two soccer games, and on Sunday I went to church and watched the Super Bowl.
